Layla Ellison is a London based creative, and has enjoyed a varied and lengthy career in the dance & entertainment industry. Her extensive knowledge and experience spans TV, Film, Concert Tours, Fashion, corporate Entertainment and work with No. 1 artists.
Layla worked on The Commonwealth Games 2022, as part of the Choreographic Team. Other most recent credits include Mahalia ‘Roadside’ Music Video, Becky Hill ‘My Heart Goes’ Music Video. EMA’s ‘Girl In Red’ performance & Juniour Eurovision 2024.

Whilst Layla works on her own projects she has been assisting and working alongside renowned choreographer Paul Roberts for the past 12 years. Over these years they have built up a very strong relationship and Layla is an integral part of his team. Layla was apart of the Choreographic team with Paul Roberts on Alicia Keys concert for London Fashion week 2023 and in 2019 the Spice Girls reunion stadium tour. Which she was honoured to be involved in.

Paul Roberts has entrusted Layla to look after and choreograph for these artists. Also working with The Balletboyz & Carnival Cruises for 10 years, means they have experienced some amazing challenges together, which have been very rewarding. TV credits with Paul include, BBC’s ‘Even Better Than The Real Thing, ‘The Late Late Show’ James Cordan, & commercials for LV & Qatar Airlines & series ‘I Hate Suzie Too’ 2022.
Assisting other Choreographers on projects has also enabled Layla to work with Mabel, Clean Bandit, Steps, Little Mix, Stefflon Don, The Voice Kids & Expo 2018.
Working closely with Chris Manoe, has allowed Layla to choreograph his productions with ROBE and his latest show of Electric Dreams.
Layla is heavily involved in the fashion industry. She is currently resident choreographer for Lindsey Hunt, whom has worked in the Fashion industry for many years. Fashion Shows credits include M&S, Under Armour, Barbie, Mattel, NEXT, F&F, Ideal Home, 100% Optical, Mattel, Mothercare, Pep & Co & very.co.uk.
Prior to this Layla was a professional dancer for 18 years. She has danced for many artists such as Rihanna, Katy Perry, Cheryl Cole, Black Eyed Peas, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Take That, Akon, Fifth Harmony, Victoria Beckham, Snoop Dogg, Danni Minogue, Boyzone, Scissor Sisters, Blue, JLS, Jamelia, Paul Mc Cartney, Girls Aloud, SugarBabes, Alesha Dixon, Will Young, Mis-teeq, Martine McCutcheon, Rachel Stevens, Charlotte Church & Liberty X.
With these artists she Toured, featured in their pop videos, performed and toured all round the world, and danced on many shows such as The Brit Awards, VMA’s, X Factor, Smash Hit Awards, MOBO Awards, Royal Variety Show, Top Of The Pops & CD:UK.
Her most memorable experience is being a part of the choreographic team, working on the Olympic (closing ceremony) & Paralympic Games in London 2012.
She was also fortunate to work in TV & Film. Resident dancer on the ‘X Factor’ working with Brian Friedman for five years running, French & Saunders, Parkinson’s Christmas Special, John Barrowman ‘Tonights The Night’ for two series. Also featuring in the movie ‘What A Girl Wants’. In advertising commercials she appeared in Marks & Spencer, McCanes, McDonalds, DFS, T-Mobile, and Marks & Spencers.
Always ambitious as a dancer to cover all areas she furthered her career in various fashion and trade shows, Clothes Show Live, House of Fraser, Nike, Levi, Topshop. Her modelling and photographic work include the Virgin Mobile Campaign and Babyliss.
Continuing her work as a choreographer now, she carries all this experience with her on the creative side of the industry.
